Opportunities in Cybersecurity

The world’s job markets are definitely shifting emphasis to the employees’ favor and no other one market may be as hot as cybersecurity, with more than a million open positions by some counts. It’s an ongoing subject we cover at Cyber Protection Magazine in February by Matt Donato, co-founder of HuntSourceThe Talent Shortage Crisis in Cyber Security and How to Overcome It. Coming up

The explosive growth of ransomware has fueled debates over it’s future. On one side are proponents of outlawing the payment of ransomware as a way to stop it. On the other side is outlawing cryptocurrency altogether. We think the answer lies somewhere in the middle. We are going to see if we can find where that middle is and what can possibly be done.

There isn’t a week that goes by that we don’t get a press release announcing a miraculous product or service that, once and for all, fixes the problem of network security. We are going to start looking at them in groups that we are calling “the holy grail market.”

In our ongoing coverage of the cybersecurity market we’ve found that a common frustration among hiring managers is the quality of candidates being sent to them by human resources. We’ve also found that human resource managers are frustrated by the lack of clear qualifications and flexibility they receive in hunting for candidates. We are going to list what HR needs to know.

Finally, as promised, here is the coupon for Sectigo:
